Most airlines refund the difference if you rebook a flight at a lower price. Backfare watches the prices of your booked flights and notifies you when there's a drop worth claiming.
Currently supports Southwest Airlines and Alaska Airlines, with more carriers planned.
How it works
- Add your booked trip — type it in, or just forward the airline's confirmation email.
- Backfare watches the price in the background, several times a day.
- You get a push notification when the price drops below your alert threshold.
- Rebook on the airline's site. Most carriers refund the difference automatically as travel credit, miles, or funds.
Status
Backfare is in active development and currently in private TestFlight. App Store availability is planned.
